For example, if they accidentally damage your lawn, will the repair the damage, or simply refund your money? In addition, will the company only guarantee their service if you invest in their entire service?
Quality of Service
An extremely important aspect in selecting a lawn care contractor is finding out how good their service really is. Make sure to ask them how many repeat customers they have. Keep in mind, though, that a loss of twenty to thirty percent of their customers from last year is normal. Ask the contractor how quickly they will respond to a complaint and if you will have to pay for a follow-up visit. Most contractors, in nearly all situations, do not charge for call backs.

Find out what training the lawn care contractor provides for their employees. Employee training varies with contractors and varies from zero to several days. All of the contractors employees should have at least very basic abilities to identify grasses, insects, weeds and diseases. They should know what they are doing and how to do it very well.
Employee Experience
Lastly, find out how experienced the lawn care contractors employees are. In the lawn care business, nearly everything is learned from experience. Being more likely to be able to identify and diagnose problems, an experienced employee will know how to deal with anything that comes at them. A contractors capability to maintain experienced employees may also give you a clue as to how professional the lawn care contractor really is.
